Further to KQU 2740 dated 30.3.24, being an Important matter, we would inform you about Circular 29.3.24 about SSGC authorised to provide indigenous gas and RLNG (Attachment 83.1).
2. Due to short fall in indigenous gas supply, the ECC authorized SSGC provide blend of indigenous gas and RLNG to expoi1 and non-export consumers.
3. SSGC formally notify all new and existing industrial and Captive Power Consumers by reviewing estimated natural gas supplies during summer period from April to October 2024, RLNG blend proportion maybe decreased from 80:20 up to 90:10 for Process (export and non-export) and from 60:40 up to 70:30 for Captive Power (expoi1 and non- export) as NG and RLNG blend proportion subject to availability of system gas and RLNG volumes.
4. The Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division vide letter dated 19.3.24, reiterated any blend proportion for industrial customers and Captive Power (export and non-export) subject to availability of system gas and RLNG volumes.
5. This arrangement of blended supplies is effective from 1.3.24 and is subject to review in October 2024. SSGC will promptly notify any changes in the proportions of RLNG and Indigenous gas based on gas availability or further directives from the government.
