A. KQU Reference & Commentary

Further to KQU 3981 of 7.8.2026, being an important matter, we would inform you about Workers Welfare Fund to support 100,000 more children (Attachment 84.1) with emphasis ours in bold & Underline for quick reading. 

2. The Workers Welfare Fund will provide educational facilities to an additional 100,000 children of registered workers across the country from Grade 1 to 12.

3. To this respect, Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain has issued special directives to Secretary Workers Welfare Fund Zulfiqar Ahmad to ensure implementation of this landmark initiative.

4. The Minister further said the Federal Government is committed to providing equal opportunities for progress, prosperity, and social advancement to every working family in Pakistan.

5. Chaudhry Salik Hussain reaffirmed the Government's resolve to transforming the Workers Welfare Fund into a modern, efficient, transparent, and people-centric institution to ensure the welfare of workers and their families.

On the other hand, all the private entities should to know as to how much funds are allotted for their poor employees’ children.
